Meet us at IdeenExpo 2026 in Hannover

IdeenExpo is Europe’s largest youth event for science and technology — a free, hands-on fair in Hannover where young people can experiment, play, and discover the many facets of STEM. This year it runs from June 20 to 28, and we would love for you to stop by!

Our group is represented there together with the MPI-DS as a whole. Come and try our interactive 3D exhibit and our touchscreen-based Game of Life, and see for yourself how simple local rules give rise to the rich, emergent dynamics of living systems. Torben and Ilias will be there in person on June 24 — say hello!
